Signs on interstate said this campground had long pull-thrus and was a Good Sam Park so we decided to stop for the night. It was quite early in the scheme of things… 5:30 p.m. The office was locked up. There were no instructions for ‘late’ arrivals. Tried knocking on office door since it appeared owners housing was in same building, to no avail. We finally just got turned around and went south on I-75 to the next exit to Amy’s RV Park. It was also a Good Sam Park with very reasonable rates and wonderful, accommodating and friendly management. I’ll know where to go and where to avoid the next time I’m passing through Tifton!
