This park needs a major renovation. The bathroom facilities are old and worn. We stayed at this park for 2 weeks and rarely saw the maintenance crew. The sites needed to be mowed, raked and weedwacked. The shelters at some of the sites need to be repaired. Pirateland continues to raise its rates but very few, if any, improvements are being made. Wifi is available for a fee (unlike many parks where it is free). The activities for the kids also carry heavy price tags. Pirateland is getting over priced and not so “family friendly”. We hope management can make the necessary changes. We don’t know if we’ll be back.
