“Pima County Fairgrounds” in Tucson, Arizona - was rated: 3
We stayed here two nights over a weekend while we visited friends in the south Tucson area. Parking here was a pleasant experience for us as there were no events going on this weekend, therefore I’m giving a 3 rating. However, if there are any kinds of events going on, particularly drag racing, this has the potential of being a very annoying place to stay. The sites are just spots in a large dirt field but relatively clean and level. We had full hookups, but many sites are just water and electric. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Since there were no events going on, we had full access to the entire fairgrounds which was nice for carefree, quiet walks with the dog. If we’d had bikes we could have of ridden all around the large complex. Before considering camping here surf to www.pimacountyfair.com to check on events.
