The office, pool area, and cafe are spectacular. The electricity was solid and the water pressure was about 55psi. We paid extra for wireless broadband, which worked moderately well. The signal strength is not very high and occasionally the system would not respond for a short time. This is a VERY large park and the sites are barely adequate. We stayed here when the park was full, over Nascar weekend, and it was claustrophobic. There is a lot of rv traffic all day long as people are leaving and arriving. The airplane noise is deafening when the planes are taking off over the park. There is constant road noise from I-15. Because the sites are so close there is also a lot of barking dogs noise. RPI members can stay here for $10/night which is a bargain, but we paid the posted rates and felt that it was overpriced. If you want to be in Las Vegas and near the shopping and casinos this is still a good choice. It’s probably the best you can do in Las Vegas. There are cheaper places but here you need to be concerned about security and this park is in a better part of town. I’d stay here again if I had to be in Las Vegas, but reserve far in advance and get one of the ‘Deluxe Pullthrough’ sites with more room. I’d rather have my rv […]
