New vehicle
Well, we finally did it, bought a new truck,well new to us anyway! 2002 Silverado.We had been looking for the last 2 years,yes!, 2 years! I guess you could say I'm a very picky shopper especially when it comes to a large investment such as a car or a home.Nice vehicle just wish I could drive it! Laura has already laid claim to it!! Of course we did trade her GMC jimmy in on it! Charcoal Grey,tow package, 4 door (back 2 doors are the suicide doors), Vortex V6.Hooking the dutch up to it tonight when I get home for work for a short weekend down at Last Chance. Gonna hit the road and see what she's got!We really liked all the extra storage we had when we bought the dutchmen (which is now all used up!) but now with the pickup we have the bed to fill up with stuff (junk!) now.Camping (or RVing) is a serious hobby to me with a serious cost too!! I guess you gotta do what you gotta do!!I'll let you know how the trip goes when we get back. Hope the weather stays warm and dry…….50 percent chance for rain Sunday.
