This campground claims to be on the river but it most definitely is not. You have to walk a good 500 yards to be near the river (across a street) and even when you get to the river the access is NOT good. You can hardly even get to the water. The owners are very nice people- but I wouldn’t recommend staying here for more than a night if you just need a place to rest. They have good shade here, but there are a number of people staying in this park that appear to be full time residents. If you’re OK with just a nice shady area with grass, then this place is OK.
