I called on Friday morning to see if they had a space available for Friday night and Saturday night. They said they did. I told them it would be late when we got there. They said no problem, just call when we got close to town. Well, as things would have it, we left two hours later than we had planned. I called when I was an hour away, to let them know that it would be close to 10:30 p.m. when we would be arriving. They gave me directions, told me where to find a site, and we would settle up in the morning. They also thanked me for calling. When we got there, I found a pull-thru site, and before I could get out of the truck, we were met by someone on a golf cart and told us about breakfast in the cafe. I thought this was a nice gesture. When I went to pay up in the morning, I took my TACO Discount Card, since they accept that discount. They guy thought that the TACO Discount Card was a coupon, and threw it away. Glad TACO gives you two cards. I should have brought them my Good Sam’s Card. They also accept that discount.The nightly rate of $22 was before any discounts. If you pay be credit card, they add an extra $1.00 per night. We paid cash. […]
