This park is run by the same company that runs the lodges at Grand Canyon and other NPs ((888) 297-2757) and is very well managed. It is inside the NP and within walking distance to the supermarket, cafeteria, visitor center and free shuttle bus transport throughout the South Rim. Excellent Ranger security. RV spaces were quite wide, pretty level and mostly dirt and gravelly. Amenities were few, but you are surrounded by forest and about a mile from the nearest canyon view. If it was located elsewhere, I’d rate it a 6. Do not confuse with similar sounding Grand Canyon Camper Village, which is a few miles outside the NP entrance.
