“Emma Wood State Beach” in Ventura, California - was rated: 8
No services whatsoever, but when you can park 100 feet from the ocean for such a reasonable price, there isn’t much to complain about! The beach is beautiful. Trains go by but the sound of the surf is so loud that you can’t really hear them. There’s no dump here, but there is one that you can use for free at a nearby park. Make sure to ask the ranger before you leave and he or she will direct you there.
