We had to rate this a eight based on location right outside the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, the mountain views, and the friendly work campers who checked us in with smiles and jokes and filled us in on useful local info. The campground itself shows neglect of a onetime very nice facility. The dinky pool was closed but looked liked it needed a lot of long deferred maintenance. Sites were eroded and uneven gravel with slope impacted weedy side yards. If you plan on spending most of the time away visiting Rocky Mountains National Park this is best choice from a very bad selection Estes commercial campgrounds.
