“Thousand Trails / Pio Pico” in Jamul, California - was rated: 4

This campground was disappointing. We made reservations 60 days in advance, requesting full hook up. We arrived and were put in the area across the street with water and electricity. Now granted, there had been a major storm in the area the week before, but there seemed to be more sites with […]

“Rufus RV Park” in Rufus, Oregon - was rated: 4

We travel for work frequently and needed to stay at The Rufus RV Park for four months during October, 2009 to January, 2010, so we really got a chance to learn all about this RV Park. First off the spaces are very small and yes you can park a big rig here but you […]

“Davis Bayou Campground” in Ocean Springs, Mississippi - was rated: 10

What a gem of a park! Quiet, serene and comfortable. All this for $8 a night with Golden Age. Can’t wait to return.

“Twin Cedars RV Park” in Lynnwood, Washington - was rated: 4

Access to the campground is through the parking lot of another business, easy to miss the signs and the driveway entrance. Interior roads are paved, but sites are gravel. The sites are extremely tight; I had to crawl under my neighbor’s slide to connect my power and water. My site was not […]

“Sarasota Sunny South RV & Mobile Home Resort” in Sarasota, Florida - was rated: 9

What a little gem. Small older campground that’s been given a lot of TLC from its new owners. They are adding more RV sites. About half the park is park model/mobile homes. Most are in nice shape. They are building a brand new swimming pool which is almost ready to […]

“Bayou Wilderness RV Resort” in Carencro, Louisiana - was rated: 9

We ended up spending two extra days here. The park was clean, the staff very cordial and helpful, and the showers, toilets, and laundry were spotless. It would be nice if the Wi-Fi was a little less pricey.

“Lily’s by the Bay” in Hitchcock, Texas - was rated: 7

We have stayed here several times as it is the most convenient to our former home/workplace when we come back for Doctor visits. Streets and sites are concrete with double width in the front of the site so you can park 2 vehicles. Voltage and water pressure is good. They have a […]

“Fiddlers Cove Marina (For Military Camping Only)” in San Diego, California - was rated: 7

We stayed with friends here because he is retired military reserve. They are allowed one guest. Our rate was $18 as a visitor and the military rate was $12. Your location with the bay, Coronado bridge, naval ships and the Pacific Ocean just across the Strand is excellent. The bike path […]

“Mount Pleasant KOA” in Mount Pleasant, Texas - was rated: 9

It was easy to access and large pull-throughs were available. The staff was extremely friendly and the entire park was clean. There was a neat pet active area, but it was rainy and cold, so couldn’t use it. We purchased a coax cable ($8) in the store to access the cable, but […]
