“Serendipity Bay RV Resort & Marina” in Palacios, Texas - was rated: 4

We have stayed in this park many times and have commented that it needs care. Nothing has changed. The same potholes, water standing and no improvements to what could be a premier park in the area. Not a bad park, just needs some TLC and some money spent on it.

“Hitchin’ Post RV Park and Saloon” in Las Vegas, Nevada - was rated: 1

This park is very old, & in a very bad neighborhood. The office door is locked 24/7 & they check you on camera before they buzz you in. That should give you a good clue of the neighborhood. There is a awful scummy trailer park right next door & we heard gunshots […]

“San Pedro Resort Community” in Benson, Arizona - was rated: 8

Rate is FHU 50 amp daily rate with Passport America discount. Paved roads with gravel pull-thru and back-in sites. Escort to site. Active snowbird type park where the indoor pool is a plus and there are a goodly number of scheduled activities. There are also some working families, but the sites […]

“John Wayne RV Ranch” in Maricopa, Arizona - was rated: 7

Rate is Passport America rate for one night with 50 amp FHU. Park has gravel/dirt roads and pads. Sites are suitable for slide outs, but with little extra room. Park has many permanents/ long term stays. It is close to the road but highway noise was not noticeable; neither was any […]

“Trailer Village RV Park” in Roswell, New Mexico - was rated: 5

Rate is daily rate, no discounts available. Gravel roads and pads. Very sharp burrs are prevalent and after tracking them inside several times, we found it necessary to always remove our shoes before entering the RV. Pull through sites are very short. Satellite reception good for both DirecTV and the Internet. […]

“Juniper Beach Provincial Park” in Cache Creek, British Columbia - was rated: 9

Sites are closer together than other provincial parks; but then other provincial parks don’t have any services, so it’s a good trade-off. Trains on both sides, so we used air conditioning at night to block the noise. There is a steep hill down to park, but do-able if you take your time. […]

“Adventure Bound Camping Resort Gatlinuburg (was Crazy Horse)” in Gatlinburg, Tennessee - was rated: 7

We camped streamside. The very large pool was never crowded even in the evening and always sparkling clean. The water slide was a huge event: it was operational, well maintained and staffed, and safety was important. Great for tweens and teens. The grounds were well kept and well manicured. The […]

“Langley AFB Famcamp” in Hampton, Virginia - was rated: 7

This campground seems just a little run down overall. It contains mostly long term campers. There seems to be about 4-5 short term spaces for people not living here. The bathhouse contained several showers and more than enough sinks and stalls. It looked to be mostly clean. The roads […]

“Bella Terra RV Resort” in Foley, Alabama - was rated: 6

Bella Terra RV resort turned out to be what could only be classified as a high end retirement community and looking back at their advertisements I guess that…s how it…s being billed. Advertised as a Class A only RV resort, it…s naturally filled with top end RVs. Truly a great place to come […]
