“El Mirage OHV Recreation Area” in El Mirage, California - was rated: 6

Dry camping only. There are “sites” which have a fire pit, barbecue and a covered picnic table. Dirt bike, ATV and UHV riding heaven. Also a well known location for sailplanes, remote controlled planes and cars as well as time trials. Day use fees have gotten quite high at $15/day, $30/week.

“Abilene RV Park” in Abilene, Texas - was rated: 9

We spent the month of November at Abilene RV Park and had a wonderful time. The people who ran the park were wonderful Christian people and bent over backwards to make our stay a pleasant one. The monthly price was very reasonable. They were quick to fix any problems. We enjoyed […]

“Alamo Fiesta RV Resort” in Boerne, Texas - was rated: 4

We spent the month of December at this park. We were quoted an incorrect price on the internet where we reserved our spot. The price for the internet was also misquoted and still is on their site. The power went off several times while we were there and finally they replaced wiring […]

“Capital City RV Park” in Montgomery, Alabama - was rated: 5

We stayed at this park as it was the best we could find in the area. As other posters have said, it is clean with a lot of permanents living there. The park itself is not that remarkable, and fairly homely. The sites are gravel, and it had been raining prior to […]

“Oxbow RV Resort” in Penticton, British Columbia - was rated: 5

As with other visitor comments: this park was well kept, clean and appeared professionally operated. However, the overall attitude and lack of customer service skills by one employee overshadowed much of the good points of this park. They allowed dogs during the highest traffic times of the year: July and August. […]

“Turquoise Trail Campground & RV Park” in Cedar Crest, New Mexico - was rated: 1

This park is a total dump. Part of the electric hook-up posts were falling down, the office is filthy, has not been cleaned in years. Lots of full time people living here, some in pretty trashy spaces as well as their rigs. Spaces that we were shown, were so out out of […]

“Cappy’s Cove RV Park” in Seguin, Texas - was rated: 7

This is the second time we stayed here. The owner is very helpful and friendly . If you like to fish for bass this is the place: catch and release only. They don’t have public bathrooms or showers yet, but they are in the plans for the future.

“Lakefront RV Park” in Seguin, Texas - was rated: 3

The owners were very friendly. With that said: the bar on the property can be very noisy, with intoxicated people roaming about. I fished quite a lot and never had a bite. Would be an alright overnight stop if you could get near the water and away from the bar.

“Fort Stockton RV Park” in Fort Stockton, Texas - was rated: 5

Right off I-10, north side, this is certainly just an overnight stay, not a destination. Little far away from Fort Stockton itself, but from what I could tell the best spot for an overnight stay. Sites are simple dirt, hook ups are water, sewer and not so reliable power. No cable is […]
