“New Bern KOA” in New Bern, North Carolina - was rated: 7

This is a nice park if you are in one of the dozen or so premium sites. They are long and wide, have good size patios and are fairly level packed gravel. The other sites are short and very narrow and are not suitable for anything over 35′. The park is clean […]

“South Beach State Park” in Newport, Oregon - was rated: 3

Sites are very hard to back into. Trees and shrubbery need to be trimmed. Trees cause you limited space to park and extend slide-outs and awnings. We stayed while it was raining and our site flooded about 2-3 inches deep. Oregon State Parks usually are top notch, but this one needs […]

“Bogachiel State Park” in Forks, Washington - was rated: 7

I had to use this campground as the local commercial park had closed for the season when I visited the area in late October. This small (123 acre) park is located between US-101 and the Bogachiel River. Road noise is not too much of a problem as the road grade is well above […]

“Game Farm Park” in Auburn, Washington - was rated: 8

An earlier review mentioned problems with overhanging limbs in this campground. During my visit I experienced no clearance problems with my vehicle which is 13… 1… high. The campground is adjacent to a large city park and may be difficult to find. However, the park…s web site provides very good directions. […]

Mostly permanent people. Kind of dumpy. Too many flashing lights. Can’t use any facilities at the resort. Laundry room was big. Will only stay here if we have to. We aren’t gamblers.

Great Park. Management are the nicest people you will ever meet. Hot tub area is enclosed for the winter and was wonderful. Pool available when weather permitted. Loved the park. Very quiet. Would stay here again.

“Pelican Point RV Park” in Half Moon Bay, California - was rated: 6

This is a nice RV park within walking distance of the ocean and golf courses, plus the CA coastal trail, where you can hike or ride your bike. We stayed here in our class B van, so it was easy to get into our site. The sites are all back-in. There was […]

“Cedar Ridge (COE)” in Belton, Texas - was rated: 6

We stayed here in with a large group of about thirty or more people. There are nice large sites if you stay at sites 25-32. However sites 2-8 are very nice too. We stayed at site 25 and thought it was really nice. The gravel pad is not level though. The picnic table has a […]
