“El Dorado State Park” in El Dorado, Kansas - was rated: 8

We loved this park and added one more night to our stay. Beautiful walking paths. We stayed in the Walnut River area. My only complaint is that the electrical hook-up was located between the water spigot and sewer drain.

“Whispering Oaks Campground” in Story City, Iowa - was rated: 8

Our price was off season, night registration. The camp was wooded and quiet. Wi-Fi was great in the laundry room, and the machines were new and clean. We arrived late and left early, stayed one night.

“Pickwick Landing State Park Campground” in Pickwick Landing State Park, Tennessee - was rated: 8

This campground offers nice, wooded sites, however it took three tries to find a level one. A helpful attendant stopped by to see if everything was to our liking. We used the park only briefly before leaving to tour Shiloh Battlefield.

“Odetah Campground” in Bozrah, Connecticut - was rated: 1

I am from the area and have camped here several times over my 8 years camping. This “Resort” campground is far from it. The roads are not paved. The full hook up sites have the hook ups all the way to the rear of the site. I used 30′ of sewer […]

“Beatty RV Park (was Kay’s Corral)” in Beatty, Nevada - was rated: 4

Nice spot to stop for one night while traveling to your destination but would not want to stay any longer. Not very much area to walk your dogs - just right along Hwy 95 in front of the park with the trucks and other traffic zooming by, my dogs did not like that. […]

“Rancheria RV Park” in Hat Creek, California - was rated: 9

“Yreka RV Park” in Yreka, California - was rated: 5

To expensive for sites that are not level. The other problem we had is our electric is on the very back of our fifth-wheel - we had to pull so far forward we were almost out of the site with the front of our truck. We did not want to unhook for a […]

“Pine Crest RV & MH Park” in Slidell, Louisiana - was rated: 9

Wife and I were disappointed with the park we originally planned on staying in, but happened by this one. A nice park: clean and lots of room to move your big rig around. It is a true RV park and the location is perfect to just about everything. The Wi-Fi could […]

“Cactus Gardens” in Yuma, Arizona - was rated: 6

We spent alot of time researching the RV parks in Yuma. Between the military air base, the active railroad through town, and I-8 running east/west, it’s challenging to find any quiet place to stop for a few days. We used our Coast to Coast membership to get the noted rate. The park […]

“Fort Collins North Wellington KOA” in Wellington, Colorado - was rated: 6

So long as the wind blows from the right direction this is not a bad little stop over campground. Good sites and friendly staff. Watch the entry as it is like driving in England: you enter on the opposite side of the road into the campground from normal. We will stay […]
