“Whispering Pines Campground” in Hope Valley, Rhode Island - was rated: 6

Staff non existent. Seemed like they mostly cater to seasonals. Barking dogs and children wandering through sites. Plumbing needs some updating. Heavy equipment through campground at 7 am on Saturday morning along with the chainsaws cutting the campfire wood. (staff) Our site had the septic tank in the middle of […]

“Sipapu Lodge” in Vadito, New Mexico - was rated: 4

The folks at Sipapu Lodge who handle the RV site reservations are very friendly and accommodating. But they seem to be clueless as to the problems with the sites. The web site emphasizes snow activities, disc golf and fishing, but shows no pictures of the RV sites. For this reason one has […]

“Leadville RV Corral” in Leadville, Colorado - was rated: 6

This is a strange little park. It is a tight, parking lot style park one block off the the main street of “downtown” Leadville. There seems to mostly seasonal/extended stay customers in the park. I am not certain how many sites are available for overnighters in the summer. The facilities (FHU, […]

“Woodside Lake Park” in Streetsboro, Ohio - was rated: 10

We are new RVers, and this place was beautiful. What made it really special is the people running it. They were kind and helpful and really started our holiday off right. We had a beautiful pull-through site with campfire and picnic table. Showers and facilities were clean, and campground was […]

“United Beaver Camperland” in Beaver, Utah - was rated: 3

The good - easy freeway access without any freeway noise. The owners were easy to work with, helpful and very friendly. The sites were easy to pull into. The bad - really run down, dirty, dog poop all over, weeds everywhere, and picnic tables falling apart. This campground has great bones if someone would just […]

“Lincoln Road RV Park” in Helena, Montana - was rated: 9

Great location just north of Helena. Stayed here “off season” yet they seemed to be quite busy. Not much for kids, but the only ones we have are the four legged kind and there was a nice dog walk area. Would definitely stay here again.

“Southaven RV Park” in Southaven, Mississippi - was rated: 4

We had made a reservation for a pull-thru site so that we would not have to disconnect our car and the dolly as we were staying only one night. When we arrived we were told they had only one spot available which was a back-in. The management (owner) did not seem the least […]
