“McKinley RV & Campground” in Healy, Alaska - was rated: 1

We spent one night at this park. They were just installing wi-fi, but it was only available if you stood next to the cash register. We traveled in Canada/Alaska for 3.5 months this summer, and voted this park as “The Worst”. While the sites were off the road, they were dirty, with […]

“Marshall Ash Village RV Park” in Stratton, Colorado - was rated: 3

Says big rig friendly: not so. Only 3-4 sites will take a big rig and then you have to be careful of the trees. Parks says trees are important to them, I guess so much so they will not trim them. Maneuvering room is limited. Would be a nice campground […]

“Copper John’s Resort” in Lakeview, Arkansas - was rated: 10

Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Had a problem with awning retracting when preparing to leave and had immediate help from staff to solve my problem. Looking forward to future visits. In my opinion it`s the only place to stay in the bull shoals- White river area.

“Heritage RV Park” in Coffeyville, Kansas - was rated: 5

This is a very basic park for a very cheap price. We were in the area to work, so it worked for us, but its not exactly a ‘nice’ park. Spaces are tight, and there’s no bathhouse at all. If you can’t stand traffic noise or trains, either don’t go here, or […]

“Walker River Resort” in Smith, Nevada - was rated: 10

We had a wonderful time. This was our 4th time this year. We are now looking to buy a membership at this campground. The owners are so nice and helpful and they are so concerned about the people who camp there. The pool area is always clean and the people in […]

“Stagecoach Stop RV Resort” in Rio Rancho, New Mexico - was rated: 9

This is a very clean, well-maintained park featuring wide driving lanes and fully-paved sites. There is plenty of space between sites and these spaces are filled with decorative river rock. Sites are easy in and easy out and most sites are long enough for big rigs, but tow vehicles must be parked perpendicular […]

“Elk Creek RV Park” in Elk City, Oklahoma - was rated: 9

This clean, well-maintained park is worthy of recommendation. The sites are mostly easy in and easy out and long enough for big rigs, but there are square corners to enter sites from driving lanes. Sites are a little close together. Driving lanes are wide. There is a new shower/laundry building with […]

“Des Moines West KOA” in Adel, Iowa - was rated: 6

This is a very nice park about 25 miles west of Des Moines and less than 2 miles north of I-80. Most sites are nice, open pull-throughs with full hookup and WI-FI. Since they don’t have cable, we requested a dome satellite friendly site. Unfortunately, the site they gave us had a […]

“Pueblo West Campground and Arena” in Pueblo West, Colorado - was rated: 7

We were in one of 6 new back-in sites on a deep bed of loose crushed concrete that desperately needs to be smoothed out to remove tire ruts, etc. The sewer connection was uphill from the pad causing problems dumping for lower diesel coaches. Super Wal-Mart is approximately 1.5 miles away, and handy […]

“AOK Camper Park” in Amarillo, Texas - was rated: 4

$11 is Passport America rate. $1 additional if you want to use ac or electric heat. Electric connections are shared between sites, 30a only, and in poor condition with badly burned sockets. Some outlets do not provide reliable power. The first I tried/tested had only 85 volts available. THIS WOULD […]
