This is a great place. Located a little far out from downtown but there are buses. The beach is across the road. Not as good as the old La Posta and Rosita, but times are changing

For a primitive campground it was very clean. No shade, but each site has a pavilion and wind breaker. A dump station and potable water is available. Pulled our 38-foot rig into our site without a problem. Nice tent sites are also available. The road construction leading to Goblin Valley, […]

I was surprised to see such high reviews for this campground. When we arrived it looked like it hadn’t been maintained in a month. The grass was knee high and so on. I was not impressed!

Unfortunately, I have to rate this park poorly. It has nothing to do with the physical attributes of the park itself. Nice enough, for an overnight stay, or longer if you want to visit the wineries. Cement pads and grass, but spaces pretty close together. The park was only 1/3 occupied […]
