“Four Mile Creek State Park” in Youngstown, New York - was rated: 9

Highly impressed by this park. Kudos to the State of New York. Was right on the lake side, great view and breeze. It rained but not flooded out. Light traffic during the weekday, great little town to eat in and visit (Youngstown). Would stay again and longer.

“Countryside RV Park, LLC” in Dillon, Montana - was rated: 8

Nice campground run by nice people. The campground has plenty of room and nice, long pull-thru sites for any size rig. Full hook-ups, except no cable TV. I would have given them a 10 with cable. Wi-Fi worked good, even on the far end of the park. Would definitely stay […]

“Orbit RV Park” in Grant, Florida - was rated: 5

Mostly occupied by permanent residents. Sites are small and level. The power and water were very good. The rate listed is the Passport America rate which is good for one week. Restrooms could use a bit of renovation and cleaning. We did not use them. We would stay again […]

“Santee Lakes Campground” in Santee, South Carolina - was rated: 5

It is a bit run down, and there are too many seasonal “shacks” that have seen better days. The place would be spectacular with a little maintenance. It’s right on Lake Marion. We would have been better off at the state park for half the price.

“Robert’s Roost Campground” in Quesnel, British Columbia - was rated: 7

This park is very pretty and on Dragon Lake. When we went for a walk down by the lake, however, there was so much duck “poop” that we didn’t want to walk on the grass. Well, that’s nature! The drinking water had a very high chlorine taste and smell, but when we asked […]

“Camp 83″ in Herreid, South Dakota - was rated: 1

It’s hard to believe there are campgrounds with full hookups for $10 a night, but this one is not worth half that! Beware. We arrived after a tortuous trip over mud/sand/dirt construction throughout the main street of Herreid, to find a overgrown weed patch with faint traces of RV slots. We pulled […]

“Heritage Mobile Home & R.V. Park” in Augusta, Georgia - was rated: 5

Great place to hook up when in Augusta. This is a mobile home park also and has full time residents. Very quiet and neat. Concrete pads and nice picnic tables. Sites were well marked for you if you came in late. Never saw the man, we just left a check […]

“Griff’s Valley View RV Park & Campground” in Altoona, Iowa - was rated: 10

For sure the finest RV park we have stayed at in Iowa. We are full-time RVers and many of the people staying here are full-timers. The daily rent shown is based on the per month rate. The place is spotless clean and there are really no junky rigs parked here. The […]

“Big Spruce RV Park” in Tillamook, Oregon - was rated: 5

Although the park is listed under Tillamook, it’s actually six miles west in Netarts. The park is extremely tight, with little room between rigs and a tight turn to get into the portion of the park we stayed in. The roads were gravel and the sites dirt. Many seasonals; some of the […]
