“Sunland RV Resorts/Vacationer RV Resort” in El Cajon, California - was rated: 1

This is not a secure park and the reciever hitch was was stolen off our truck while parked there. The ants are horrible. Children run wild in the park. A trailer parked in the storage area was broken into. The dog run is a small fenced area with a bucket for […]

“International RV Park & Campground” in Daytona Beach, Florida - was rated: 6

Sites are very tight. Wifi only available near the office. No cable TV. Would not stay there again.

“Crowley’s Ridge State Park” in Paragould, Arkansas - was rated: 8

Beautiful, wooded campground. Managed to get in our back-in site for our 38 ft. without problems. Park has one pull through site. Much cleanup still going on after the ice storm.

“Gulf Shores / Pensacola West KOA” in Lillian, Alabama - was rated: 1

This is one of the worst KOAs we’ve stayed at in the nation and we’ve stayed at a lot of them. Uneven sites, overflowing trash dumpster, filthy showers and restrooms, and employees who frankly don’t care. We even had to endure two nights of tornado warnings huddled on the open office porch under […]

“Shady Grove Campground” in Denver, Pennsylvania - was rated: 7

This place had large, level sites. All sites have w/e/s and free wifi. Only two complaints–1) only one bath house available for the whole campground, which had a relatively non-private setup in the showers and 2) there were not enough lights and walking around at night was rather dangerous. Especially as the […]

“Chestnut Ridge Park & Campground” in Hubbard, Ohio - was rated: 8

Lovely setting and friendly host. This was an excellent, quiet setting for an overnight stay in one of their pull thrus. The water and electricity functioned properly. We enjoyed our stay.

“Honey Creek State Park” in Grove, Oklahoma - was rated: 9

Shady, quiet and within a mile from the stores in Grove, we found this park to be exactly as expected. The park facilities were clean and well kept, the roads and campsites were well maintained, and the pool and playground very nice. The only reason I didn’t give it a 10 is the […]

“Blue Spruce RV Park” in Grants, New Mexico - was rated: 6

This RV park is basically a subdivided gravel lot. Pull through sites are more than adequate in size. Right next to RR tracks and trains will interfere with sleep. However, the price is right. OK for overnight stopover.

“Indian Creek Campground” in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming - was rated: 8

Another very pretty Yellowstone campground. Restrooms were kept clean and staff was friendly. You have to pay before entering the campground which can cause small traffic jams. Once you get past that mess, it becomes a more pleasant affair. Scattered pine forest with largely sandy site and nearby Indian Creek for […]
