“Red Rock Park” in Churchrock, New Mexico - was rated: 9

This is a nice park and probaly due to the fact nobody was in the park made it even better. Lots of hiking or whatever and one thing we were told to beware of is when you are walking your dog keep a close look out for stray dogs from the reservatuion or packs […]

“Rancho Verde RV Park” in Camp Verde, Arizona - was rated: 10

We stayed here in a 45′ motorhome in a nice pull through. Maneuverability for the coach and toad was good. The park owners Chris and Bob are very active in keeping the place spotless and well maintained. This was a perfect base for us as we explored northern Arizona including Prescott, Sedona […]

“Sky City RV Park” in Acoma, New Mexico - was rated: 7

When we pulled up to this park, there was no sign of habitation in the park office, so we read a small sign on the office door which said to call the registration desk at the Casino Hotel for instructions. We did so, and were told to find a space and come down to […]

“Liberty Hill (COE)” in Purdon, Texas - was rated: 5

This was a very nice setting but did not feel it was quite up to the COE standards. All the sites sat above the lake. Attendants were helpful. Grass was not mowed and was almost knee high. There was only 3 or 4 campers besides us during the week, more on […]

“Marina Village Resort” in Trinity, Texas - was rated: 6

We found the check-in staff not to be helpful. Interior roads and pads need maintence. It was a great place for birding and they had two very nice pools. Deer visited the camping area in the evening.

“Fox Fire KOA” in Milton, West Virginia - was rated: 1

We stayed at this park last Summer. As we arrived we noticed a strong sewer smell in the air. A girl that worked there said there is a sewage treatment plant nearby and it gets kinda rank, especially in the Summer. It was not so bad once we got back in the […]

“Camp Taylor Campground” in Columbia, New Jersey - was rated: 3

First the GOOD: beautiful park, wooded sites, clean. It’s local for us (well about an hour and half away) so that was a plus too! Very clean toilets and showers. Based on only these facts, we would undoubtedly be repeat visitors. Now, the not so good (i.e. BAD): the management. […]

“Nature’s Resort RV Park” in Homosassa, Florida - was rated: 5

The campground itself is ok, kind of run down and it seems there were more permanent guests than I prefer, but if you like to go to the springs you will not find a better place to camp. With just a short boat ride you will be enjoying yourself and swimming at the springs […]

“DeGray Lake Resort State Park” in Bismarck, Arkansas - was rated: 10

Outstanding campground. Everything looked top notch. Originally reserved site for 2 days ended up staying 2 additional days. Great time fishing in the lake but no luck this time.
