“Saddleback Mountain RV Park” in Balmorhea, Texas - was rated: 6

This is a basic park for a stop over. There is nothing there except for a gas station which is where you register for the RV park. PA rate is $10 for full services. My Air Card would not work so no internet for 2 days. The cable TV only got […]

“Gunter Hill Campground (COE)” in Montgomery, Alabama - was rated: 9

We stayed at the Senior Pass rate. A typical Corps of Engineers campground—and I mean that in a good way. Sites are shaded by tall trees, many sites on the water, quiet, very scenic, friendly staff. The only criticism is that a few sites would be tight with slides out. We…ll be back.

“Boulder Oaks RV Resort” in Boulder City, Nevada - was rated: 9

A very nice park in the Las Vegas area. We stayed here for one month starting on March 17, 2009. Rate was $707.00 for the month including utilities. This is a “condo” park. Sites are owned or for sale and you rent the site from the owner through the parks rental […]

“Woodchip Campground” in Byron Center, Michigan - was rated: 4

Park is close to US-131 just south of Grand Rapids. Full hook-up sites at park are open year round. We stayed here late in March because it was one of the only parks near Grand Rapids that was open this early in the year. Sites are grassy and the front full hook-up […]

“Granite Pointe RV Park” in Lawton, Oklahoma - was rated: 3

The middle row of sites are heavily sloped, and the sewer drop is at the high end of the site. It is virtually impossible to dump from a low motorhome. With any type rig, to dump requires 2 long sewage hoses with a support under both of them, and still you must “walk” […]

“Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park” in Niceville, Florida - was rated: 8

A small, excellent park especially if you like boating and/or fishing. Other than that, not a great deal to do. Coffee house and the only restaurant we tried were very good as was the Niceville dog park. Sites are large and level. Staff friendly and helpful. Three walking trails are […]

“Duke Creek Campground” in Cedar Springs, Michigan - was rated: 1

The owner was always drunk. He used profane language and accused my 6 year old son of stealing a pop tart. The electrical was faulty and we got shocks every time we touched metal. We left 2 days early and were not given a refund. We saw one women physically thrown […]

“By The River RV Park & Campground” in Kerrville, Texas - was rated: 7

Older park, but very quiet and nice….while there seems to be a lot of long termers living here, it was not problem to be in a pull through site at the PassPort America rate. Staff very nice and helpful. I would come back!

We had a site with trees and full hook up…really nice new bath and shower house facility and their BBQ ribs were as good as the man at the front desk said they would be. Cold, windy and snow but a great laundry and nice gift shop. Friendly staff, we are really liking […]
