“Zephyr Cove Resort Campground” in Zephyr Cove, Nevada - was rated: 9

We rented a cabin at the water front and parked our 34′ rv in a full hookup to keep it warm and prevent freezing. We got a great deal on the cabin and a reduced rate for the rv pull thru. Very friendly and accommodating people. The snow made the lots a […]

“Holiday Cove RV Resort” in Cortez, Florida - was rated: 6

This park has been completely renovated, though some items are not yet completed. We stayed here for 11 days because it is located so close to Anna Maria Island, the intracoastal waterway and the beaches. Each brick paved site was level and quite roomy; they were separated by narrow mulched beds of small shrubs. Our […]

“Columbia Camden RV Park” in Camden, South Carolina - was rated: 7

The sites are basic and clean. The people are very nice and friendly. There are not many amenities. It makes a good base camp if you are staying in the area. It is not far out of Columbia.

“Turtle Bayou” in Wallisville, Texas - was rated: 6

Convenient place for an overnight stay from what we saw. Close to I-10, so there’s a little road noise. Pull-throughs are grass/gravel and easy in & out for big rigs. We would stay here again for an overnight stay only.

“Casa De Fruta RV Orchard Resort” in Hollister, California - was rated: 6

This is a very basic park. Essentially a large paved parking lot with hookups, although there is a grassy tent area in the center of the campground. The east side of the park is primarily permanent residents. They seem to have all of the short term visitors stay on the opposite side. […]

“Indian Lake State Park” in Lakeview, Ohio - was rated: 5

Not the best camping experience. It seems like this was a great place a few years ago, and they have been letting it go. Although, very early in the camping season, I still wouldn’t have expected the grass to be a foot tall. They did cut our grass on our site and […]

“Flying Flags RV Resort & Campground” in Buellton, California - was rated: 7

The recreation facilities at the park are quite nice. IT IS WORTH PAYING FOR A PREMIUM PLUS SITE! These sites have been completely redone and are quite nice. The regular spaces are in desperate need of sprucing up as is the north side of the park which consists of permanent residents. Many […]
