“Butterfield RV Resort and Observatory” in Benson, Arizona - was rated: 8

We stayed here with a group(thus the $5 per nite discount), and enjoyed our stay of 5 days. Yes, if you are going to stay a night, I wouldn’t, as it takes a while to get used to the trains. However, this is the ony RV park in the U.S. that has […]

“Fortuna De Oro RV Park” in Yuma, Arizona - was rated: 9

We stayed here for an overnight stop. We were given a paved pull thru site along the east edge of the park. The sites were wide and easy to pull into. The view of the mountains to the east was spectacular. We would stop here again when passing thru.

“Sugar Mill Plantation RV Park” in Thomasville, Georgia - was rated: 9

This is a great little park with outstanding facilities. The staff was very friendly, and everything is kept neat and clean. Rather than risk an unknown, I would stop early, or drive late to stay here. The WIFI and cable service were fine. This park is right next to US 19 […]

“Crossroads Arena” in Corinth, Mississippi - was rated: 6

Kind of hard to describe this facility. It is a parking lot behind the arena where, for $10/night, you can hook up to water and electric. We were the ONLY people that stayed that night so it was obviously quiet. There are no formal RV sites and we were told to just […]

“Marval Family Camping Resort” in Gore, Oklahoma - was rated: 8

This was a great park and I only wish we would have had time to explore all of the facilities and things they had to offer. We stayed one night and found a pleasant quiet evening on the river. We were looking for a place to spend the night but this park is […]

“Canyon Gateway RV Park” in Williams, Arizona - was rated: 5

We arrived for a one night stay on our way to the Grand Canyon. This park was digging out from 4 feet of snow that they had in the prior weeks. We were fortunate(?) to have a period of somewhat warm temps, which caused the dirt gravel roads and RV sites to be […]

“Bradshaw Mountain RV Resort” in Black Canyon City, Arizona - was rated: 7

This was a nice neat park with a friendly staff. The roads were paved and the parking sites had concrete slabs beside your grass parking area. We just spent the night in route to the Grand canyon so we did not have a chance to see all that the park had to offer. […]

“Apache Palms RV Park” in Tempe, Arizona - was rated: 8

This was a nice little park with a very helpful and friendly staff. The RV park is kept spotless with each site being policed as soon as a guest leaves. The roads are black top with gravel parking. The gravel is constantly being raked by full time staff to keep things looking […]

“Sunset Bay State Park” in Coos Bay, Oregon - was rated: 7

First of all this park should have been listed under the city of ‘Charleston’ rather than Coos Bay as it is closer. If you are looking for parks in this area take a look under Charleston to get a better idea of what is available. As with all the Oregon State Parks we […]

“Chassahowitzka River Campground” in Homosassa, Florida - was rated: 5

Although this campground is in a great location and has very attractive sites, it could use some maintenance. Our site had broken glass and a glass bottle in it when we arrived, and the wooden picnic table had a big chunk out of it. The bath houses need a new floor. The […]
