“Bass Lake RV Campground” in Dillon, South Carolina - was rated: 8

Near to I-95, very clean, easy access for large rigs, extremely accommodating new owners. Arrived very late but owner met me, guided me to a suitable site and bid me good night. Brand new, sparkling clean bathrooms, showers & laundry facilities.

“Country Hills RV Park” in Beaumont, California - was rated: 3

Having read the ratings for this park on RV Parks Review web site, we decided to give this park a try for our 4 day Thanksgiving Day getaway. We found management to be very friendly but were very disappointed in the CG in general. Very few trees, lots of dirt and gravel with […]

“Destin RV Beach Resort” in Destin, Florida - was rated: 9

This is a very nice albeit expensive campground. They will try to sell you a campsite. I don’t know the whole deal, we did not listen to the pitch. You will have problems if you have more than your RV and one vehicle, not much parking. They did ask the year […]

“Gunter Hill Campground (COE)” in Montgomery, Alabama - was rated: 7

Gunter Hill is not a bad park, just getting old and the lack of funds is showing. Our site (48) was a little beat up and in need of repairs. The bathrooms and showers were also in need of some care. The staff was very friendly. I would say that many […]

“Hi-Desert RV Park” in Winnemucca, Nevada - was rated: 1

I made a mistake stopping at this RV park. Most who reside in this park are long term and it shows. Spaces are not designed for RV’s with slide outs and are rather a dirty mess. Forget sitting outside as dogs run loose through out the park and the barking will drive […]

“Wendover Nugget RV Park” in Wendover, Nevada - was rated: 1

This is a no frills campground, I personally would not stay here again. Since the Golden Nugget casino owns this campground I expected better. Most are long term residents and the park is a mess.

“Lake Guntersville State Park” in Guntersville, Alabama - was rated: 5

Our site was very out of level and very close to the sites on either side. The sewer was stopped up on our site and the maintenance man worked on it as soon as we let the office know of the problem but it gave us problems the whole time we were there. Both times […]

“Pat Mayes Sanders Cove” in Powderly, Texas - was rated: 6

All the private parks in this part of Texas and a large radius are full due to a large pipe line project. This is an alternative and a nice park. Typical Forest service /Govt campground. 30 amp electric and water available. We used the Golden age passport for the $6.50 rate. […]

“Creekside RV Village” in Crockett, Texas - was rated: 5

Not much of a park. The web site shows what can be done with photography (a lot better looking in the photos than it is). It is more of a gravel parking lot with concrete strips for the wheels to rest on with hookups. It is only a mile and half from […]

“Boyd’s Key West Campground” in Key West, Florida - was rated: 2

Wow! This is the most over-priced campground we have stayed in in our 5 months on the road and we’ve stayed on truly waterfront sites. I guess as they’re the only game in town they feel they can gouge people. The check-in ladies were not very friendly - what does it take to […]
