Not a bad campground for an overnight stay off I-95 but I would not camp here for any length of time. I just got a creepy feeling being at this KOA. As we were checking in an employee was blowing off the sidewalk in front of the office with a cigarette sticking out […]
This park is NO loner open for business. Arrived here at 4:30pm and found it abandoned with a chain link fence arond the property.

The folks that checked us in lied about the rates at the other campground in the area. This “campground” is more aptly described as a trailer park. Gravel sites, no trees, bathrooms closed, and it is just an extension of the local trailer park. Old pickups cutting through at high speed, raising […]
Reservations were made, and after office hours arrival was great. The evening site manager was very helpful assisting us with directions to site. Site 900 was adjacent to the highway intersection so road noise was loud; there was a motorcycle bar right at the intersection so the local bikers caused a lot of […]
Overall condition of the “resort” is run down. The restrooms and showers are in dire need of a facelift. Cable hookups are in need of repair and fire ants are everywhere. Traffic noise is at a minimum and sites are close. This place is overpriced for the condition and the name resort is a marketing […]
This is a great place. Sites are large over in the F section. This is dry camping and there are restrooms but no showers. They have a dump station and fresh water available down the road about a quarter mile at the horse stables. There is a nice 6 mile hiking trail at the campground. […]
The access to this park is very convenient. It is right off I-10 a few miles west of Columbus. You probably won’t need a reservation to stay here as it is not particularly crowded. A very friendly staff. We were shown to our pull through site conveniently located for easy in & out for our […]
What an improvement. We stopped here a few years ago and thought it was OK. This time there are new longer pull-thrus with easy hook-ups. The staff we dealt were very helpful. They forgot to give us the “cookies” at check-in, but they got delivered moments later. It was a nice surprise. The grounds have […]
We camp in a 32′ vintage Airstream. This was not exactly camping, more like being parked at a rally or Wal-Mart lot. That said, the location is better than Candlestick RV Park for visiting family in The City. Caltrain stops across the freeway (about 1 mile away). The park is wedged […]
