“Lake Somerset” in Westover, Maryland - was rated: 3

This is more of a trailer park than a campground. Most of the people here are living here full time. We have a 37′ foot 5th wheel and they assigned us a spot near the back of the campground. It was very difficult to get to the spot due to the overgrown […]

“Five Peaks R.V. Park” in Joseph, Oregon - was rated: 8

This park is conveniently located two blocks from downtown Joseph. It only has five sites so you won…t find it listed in either Woodalls or Trailer Life since they require a minimum of ten sites to be listed in their guide. All five sites are gravel back-ins with FHU including cable. Each […]

“Sandcreek RV Park and Campground” in Torrey, Utah - was rated: 2

We will not stay here again. We were the only motorhome to check in over the Labor Day Weekend. Park has been neglected. It needs landscaping and to clear out the junk. They also board horses so flies are a problem.

“Haskell City Park” in Haskell, Texas - was rated: 5

Level, hard surface sites in city park. Both 30A and 50A FHU sites available. Asphalt walking/jogging trail and other park amenities. Easy walk to downtown. There is an unattended gas/diesel station just east of downtown on US380 with pretty good prices. First night is free. Nightly rate after the […]

“Outlaw Trail RV Park” in Jensen, Utah - was rated: 1

Don’t stay here. The park was very dirty, no weeds had been cut, no blown around trash picked up, mostly permanent residents with run down trailers or fifth wheels with all their junk outside. Residents were surly and resentful of overnighters with nice motorhomes.

“Prairie View Campground” in Lusk, Wyoming - was rated: 2

This park would not be a bad overnight stopover BUT the road leading into the park was covered with HUGE potholes which were filled with water following rains. We entered VERY slowly but still the holes were so horrible that we broke a connector on our hot water heater because of the rocking of […]

“Dancing Eagle RV Park” in Casa Blanca, New Mexico - was rated: 6

This is a bare bones CG but a pleasant overnight spot if you like casino atmosphere, which we do. Good food in the casino.

“Sky City Casino RV Park” in Acoma, New Mexico - was rated: 3

We had to go thru a big mud hole to even get into the park. This was a nice over night stop last year for $10 but for $27.00 forget it. The park is becoming slowly run down for a 2 year old park. The clerk in the office had a don’t […]

“Cedar Rail RV Park & Campground” in Raton, New Mexico - was rated: 10

We appreciated most the courteous welcome of the owners and staff at Cedar Rail. We were led to our site (which we appreciated). The view is wonderful and everyone there was so friendly and helpful. We stayed two weeks and now wonder why we didn’t stay a month. This park is […]
