“Melody Lakes” in kertown, Pennsylvania - was rated: 6

Served its purpose of being near the Allentown area. If full, the sites are very tight but fortunately, we were the only RV there. Nice swimming pool. Miniature golf course available. Grounds of the mobile home park are very nice. Campsite is just a gravel driveway.

“Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort” in Colorado Springs, Colorado - was rated: 5

I struggled to be fair in rating this CG. The CG advertises that it is family friendly, but our opinion is this CG is aimed towards the senior citizens crowd. THEY seemed thrilled with the CG. We pulled in late and went off to find our site, which had no site number. […]

We stayed here 1 night as an easy in/out spot, and it was perfect for what we needed. WiFi worked fine and there are lots of amenities in very close proximity. We didn’t even hear road noise, as we suspected we might.

“Iron Horse RV Resort” in Elko, Nevada - was rated: 6

Not the kind of place to stay more than a day or two. Wide gravel sites, no trees. Priced high for this type of park.

“Greybull KOA” in Greybull, Wyoming - was rated: 10

We stayed here in 2003 and liked it even in its old form since it was a convenient stop after the Bighorns on the way to Yellowstone. In its new form it is wonderful. The only “negative” it it’s still a bit smallish, but owners and staff are super friendly and helpful, the […]
