“Lincoln City KOA” in Otis, Oregon - was rated: 8

We stayed here for 8 days over Memorial Day weekend. Even though we were a little late in booking our reservations, staff went out of their way to get us a spot with full hookups with out our having to move. The Park is great, staff very pleasant and accommodating. Lots of […]

“Desoto Caverns Park” in Childersburg, Alabama - was rated: 6

Quiet camp area with only a few other campers. Only a couple of 50 amp sites, wifi worked great at site in motorhome. If you have kids they will enjoy the cave and outside games. Most sites are small, only a couple of pull-throughs. Other than host who works at the […]

“Myrtle Beach Travel Park” in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina - was rated: 8

This is by far the largest park we have stayed in, and one of the most expensive. Our rate does not reflect the tax ($6.50/day). It is an older park, but nice. We were in a full hookup site not far from the ocean. It was pleasant to sit outside and […]

“Hale’s Bar Marina and Camground” in Guild, Tennessee - was rated: 8

Seems to be a relatively new park that is working hard to get it right. Concrete pads, we were level when we backed in. Had a spot that backed up to the lake which allowed us to fish from our yard. Each spot had fire rings so you could sit by the […]

“Riverbend Campground” in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee - was rated: 9

Love this park, we have two more trips planned there this year! Level spots, plenty of water pressure, WI-FI works great, no problems with cable or power. Concrete pads with easy access. It is about 2 blocks from the main drag but far enough away to be quiet and out of the […]

“Triple Creek RV Park” in Woodville, Texas - was rated: 9

Very family friendly park. Access to 2000 acres of the Big Thicket. On the weekends they have free shows, Blue Grass, Gospel and Classic Country. It is known as a Music RV Park and is a great “Birding” destination. Exceptionally clean and well kept.

“Mermaid Cove” in Spring Branch, Texas - was rated: 9

This is a very friendly camp. I have been many times. The sites are not on the Guadalupe because the river does flood. Tent camping is on the river. What brings me back is the friendly atmosphere and exceptional “Pet Friendly” attitude.

“Springridge Mobile Estates & RV Park” in Clinton, Mississippi - was rated: 6

RV Park was actually a “asphalt parking lot” behind the office of a mobile home community. No grass. Pull-thru long enough for our 50′ rig, very close to neighbor. Facilities were clean. Bathrooms and showers required a door code. Swimming pool was closed. It is OK as a stop […]
