“Columbia Falls RV Park” in Columbia Falls, Montana - was rated: 8

Very nice little RV park. Its in town close to everything. Coin operated showers. Little street noise but not bad. Grassy pull thru sites. Wifi worked okay but they only have a router inside the office. If you depend on Wifi, ask for a site close to the office. […]

“La Grande Rendezvous RV Resort” in La Grande, Oregon - was rated: 7

We liked the park - there was a very nice front desk lady, who was willing to tell us what to see in the area and where to eat. Even though we drive a big rig, we chose to take one of the ‘normal’ sites (30 amp, $26 vs $41, smaller.) It was just […]

“New Bern KOA” in New Bern, North Carolina - was rated: 6

Park is nice. Staff got rude when a visitor showed up and accidentally exceeded the speed limit. Sites were OK. If you were willing to pay up to a $100 you could have a nice site. We probably wont be back there again.

We stayed here during their Grand Opening and it was wonderful. The sites are first class. All are paved and level. Most all are back in but it works out fine. Plenty of extra parking. People were very friendly and family oriented. Short walk to the lake. The […]

“Henderson Lake Campground” in Lethbridge, Alberta - was rated: 6

Run down campground with uneven asphalt sites, lots of old permanent looking trailers. Friendly staff. Trees make satellite difficult, but they do have wifi at a cost.

“Art’s RV Sites” in Fayetteville, North Carolina - was rated: 8

This is not a campground, but rather 12 RV sites in Art’s backyard. There are currently 10 full hookup sites and two W/E sites (which as of this writing 5/08 are getting connected to the sewer). Art’s RV sites are very convenient to Ft. Bragg/Pope AFB as well as anything in Fayetteville. […]

“River Bend Campground” in Oneco, Connecticut - was rated: 7

Super nice staff. The campground is a little older and could use some spiffying up but they make up for that in their hospitality. Many extras for the kids including mining and activities. Would recommend.

“Wawaloam Campground” in West Kingston, Rhode Island - was rated: 9

Huge sites! The water slides are fun but a little expensive if you have more than one child.

“Medford / Gold Hill KOA” in Gold Hill, Oregon - was rated: 5

This is an older KOA. The staff, though rather gruff in a refreshing way, were accommodating. Sites are okay . . . gravel pads with some grass and RV hookups that were dated but okay as well. There are lots of trees around proving shade … it is […]
