“Badlands Ranch & Resort” in Interior, South Dakota - was rated: 8

This is a Passport America CG so regular rate is $25/night (you can get one night free with a trail ride when paying reg rate). The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. The location and trail rides are simply outstanding but drive slowly on the gravel road to the park (typical […]

“Whisler Mobile Home & RV Park” in Springdale, Arkansas - was rated: 4

Price is Good Sam price. Older park with really only about 20 actual rental sites. The Wi-Fi came from a nearby open site. Was usable for 2 days we were there. We had friends in the area and there was really no other place available as it was too cold for […]

“Dockweiler RV Park” in Playa del Rey, California - was rated: 6

Very tight spaces. A lot of transient-type squatters and loud family gatherings. An OK one-nigher. The jets and sewage plant were not an issue at all.

“Red Apple Campground” in Kennebunkport, Maine - was rated: 3

This was truly a seasonal campground, just a few sites for weekender’s and seasonals felt like they owned the place. I will not go back.

“Sennebec Lake Campground” in Appleton, Maine - was rated: 4

To many seasonals and sites were very small to many carts running around and parties at night, some campers had 4 large dogs that barked and whined all day. Not a good visit, we will not go back.

“Eagle Resorts RV Park” in Saginaw, Texas - was rated: 3

Rate is monthly rate of $360, which includes $100 electric. We’ve stayed here several times. The owners/managers are good to work with. One draw-back here is hookups located far at rear of back-in sites requiring sewer extensions (which they will provide if you don’t have enough). A real irritant to us […]

We spent a month at this park and paid the monthly rate. The park is very well maintained. The wi-fi, although at additional cost, is excellent. The staff is very friendly and the campsites are well appointed.

Neah Bay is a small town located on the Makah Indian Reservation. Fishing and hiking is the most popular reason for folks to come to the area and many do. Permits are required and you need to get a year pass.. but its only about $10. Cape Motel RV park is […]

“Crooked Creek Resort” in Hill City, South Dakota - was rated: 8

Very nice place and very friendly owners and staff. It’s way nicer and a true bargain compared to the nearby “RV resort” at $47/night. Convenient to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park and especially the Alpine Inn in Hill City! Bike trail (George S. Mickelson Trail I believe) passes thru the […]
