“Hico City Park” in Hico, Texas - was rated: 7

Quiet, city park. On the Bosque River. Pay for site in town at city hall, 1/2 mile away. Very reasonable rates and the park is mostly empty. Sites are not well marked and there are numerous connections for a single site. Very unusual. Lots of grass and trees. […]

“Town of Guernsey - Larson City Park” in Guernsey, Wyoming - was rated: 6

Rating based on comparing to other city parks. Not a full service campground. This is a city-owned campground located right on the Platte River next to the city golf course. 15 sites, but they would be very tight if all 15 were used. We were there with 6 other TT and […]

“Thousand Lakes RV Park” in Torrey, Utah - was rated: 7

Only stayed one night, but seemed like a nice park. Wi-fi was slow, but it worked. Would try it again.

“The Bee’s RV Resort” in Clermont, Florida - was rated: 6

We were pretty happy with this park. You park on grass, and when it rains it’s a mess. And the spaces are too close together. And there really is a lot of road noise. But the place has a really nice feel to it and we would definitely stay here again. […]

“Desert View RV Resort” in Needles, California - was rated: 6

This was a nice campground, definitely designed for the retirement set. The pool was very small, but a welcome relief from the heat. Everyone was super friendly. They escort you right to your site. There wasn’t any recreation area to speak of, where you could walk around or enjoy the outdoors. […]

“Lo Lo Mai Springs Outdoor Resort” in Page Springs, Arizona - was rated: 9

The setting of this campground can’t be beat. I imagine in the summer it’s a wonderful respite from the heat. The people working there were friendly and mostly helpful. The pool was clean and well kept. The bathrooms were wonderful, with nicely laid out showers and a laundry room. The […]

“Apache Palms RV Park” in Tempe, Arizona - was rated: 4

We stayed here on our first ever RV trip, so we don’t have years of staying other places to compare it to. It felt like we were in a parking lot, as opposed to any ‘park’. There are apartments right next door and there is very little ambiance. On the bright side, […]

“Lake Conroe / Houston North KOA (formerly Haven’s Landing RV Resort)” in Montgomery, Texas - was rated: 10

Not sure of the price per night we where at a RV Rally Alfas. This park was great, has nice sites, beautiful pool, and hot tub covered. The only complaint was the Wi-Fi kept disconnecting. Staff was friendly and very nice. Had a great time.

“Grand Junction KOA” in Grand Junction, Colorado - was rated: 9

Clean, well laid out facility. Approximately 10 miles from the Interstate but not difficult to get to. Restrooms were spotless. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

“Harpers Ferry KOA” in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia - was rated: 4

I did not have a feeling of being welcome at this campground on arrival, it was all business. The brochure does not tell you about the abutting property with the kid with the motocross bike that he or she practices with when he or she gets home from school until dark. It also […]
