“Great Plains State Park” in Mountain Park, Oklahoma - was rated: 7

Typical state park with lots of hiking and quiet. This is a great little area to get away and enjoy the weekend. 3 separate areas to camp, even has a point that can be rented for large groups. Seasonal bait shop has small snacks, nearest town is around 8 miles. Sites […]

“Isleta Lakes RV Park” in Isleta Pueblo, New Mexico - was rated: 4

Poorly managed with employees that are sorely lacking in any hospitality training. Sites are adequately sized but poorly designed with table and small shelter placed on the wrong side of RV. Water spigot missing handle and sewer cover in pieces. There is a nice lake and walking paths with a casino nearby. […]

“Trade Winds RV Park of Vallejo” in Vallejo, California - was rated: 3

It is not often you get to see an owner who really doesn’t like her customers. Things would be great if she didn’t have those pesky people around to bother her. This is your place if you want this. Lots of little signs all around. WiFi in office only, and locked […]

Just a non busy road between us and the Aranas Bay. Site #23 Very nice and a clear view of the bay and the 500 foot private Pier just across the street. The sites are all concrete and level. Small sites for small trailers, smaller sites for a pop up trailers and […]

Although it allows pets, there is no adequate place to walk them. You actually have to go outside the entrance to an open field. You must walk pets on paved access roads. Sites are very short. I have a 45 that barely fit. Excellent hookups, but sites are also narrow, […]

“Grand Canyon Trailer Village / South Rim” in Grand Canyon Village, Arizona - was rated: 9

No showers available in Trailer Village, go next door to Mather Campground. Restroom smelled, seemed clean though. Close to General Store, Restaurant, Post Office and Bank. Rim is about 3/4 mile from Trailer Village. In totality this is a very nice spot. Shuttle buses to everywhere, no charge. And […]
