“Kartchner Caverns State Park” in Benson, Arizona - was rated: 9

Nice desert setting with large sites. Beautiful sunset views. Quiet park. Pull throughs 50 amp and backins 30 amp. Nearly empty. Caverns right here, tours expensive and redundant. Throne room is best tour. Shopping at least 10 miles away.

“Cotton Valley R.V. Park & Motel” in Clint, Texas - was rated: 5

Some of the pull through sites we kind of short. The guy at the convenience store where you check in seemed nice to me. He said that I could take any site I wanted. We picked an open pull through and had no problem fitting in or driving out. This was […]

“Las Quintas Oasis RV Park” in Yuma, Arizona - was rated: 6

Long pull thru but not laid out very well. I could not level the coach in the first site and had to move. The utilities were poorly located. The pull-thru sites were obviously not designed by an RV’er. However, the park was quiet and road noise was minimal. The roads […]

“Daytona Speedway KOA” in Daytona Beach, Florida - was rated: 4

This campground just changed over to a KOA two months ago. It’s former name was, Town & Country RV park. If your rig is over 40′, you may want to reconsider this place. It was a little tight for our 36′. The power was good. The water pressure was low […]

“Topsail Hill State Preserve” in Santa Rosa, Florida - was rated: 8

This place is awesome. The pine trees near (site # 36) us are about 40 foot tall. The little scrub trees are about 10 to 20 feet tall. They are scattered everywhere in this park. There is saw grass all over the place too. It is tall and green with […]

“Indian Creek Recreation Area” in Monroe City, Missouri - was rated: 9

All the previous reviews are spot-on! This is a very nice campground. The hosts and park rangers were very friendly and helpful. Our spot was big, nice gravel area around fire ring and picnic table. We did a lot of hiking with our dog. Only bad thing was the ticks. […]

“Lebanon Hills Regional Park” in Apple Valley, Minnesota - was rated: 7

The only good thing about this campground is location. It is close enough to Minneapolis to use as a base for touring. This park is very big rig friendly. There are three sections of camping. There are two sections for smaller rigs and tents with gravel roads and sites. These […]

“Desert Holiday RV Park” in Yuma, Arizona - was rated: 6

Lot of long term residences. Cash or check only. Cable TV sites limited. WIFI worked well. Only 2 pull thru sites. Sites are fairly narrow. Trailer Life directory says no side by side hookups. There are plenty of them which made it awkward for my sewer connection. […]

“Holiday Home MH & RV Park” in Borrego Springs, California - was rated: 5

This park is more suitable for snow birds or long term stays. Cable TV has to be applied for thru the cable company, so only worth it for monthly stays. Laundry has only 2 washers and 2 dryers. Gets crowded in there! No clubhouse or rec room, but has horseshoes and a […]
