“The Parks At Chehaw” in Albany, Georgia - was rated: 8

This was a beautiful and quiet park. The roads getting in are a little tight and we had to remove our CB antenna to keep it from hitting their Christmas lights. The large playground is wonderful for small children and the Animal Park is within walking distance of your site. We will […]

“Blazing Star Luxury RV Resort” in San Antonio, Texas - was rated: 4

This park is very clean but the website is misleading. They state that there is a hot tub, but they no longer have one. They also state that they sell discount tickets to area attractions, but they do not. Also, the first day when we took our RV out to go to […]

“River Camp USA” in Piney Creek, North Carolina - was rated: 10

I guess it’s all in what you’re looking for, or what your expectations are, but this campground was perfect for me during my stay. No, it’s certainly not a fancy “resorty” type place with cement pads and perfectly landscaped grounds, but I really liked how it was a natural setting - like being in […]

“Casa Motel & Campground” in Minot, North Dakota - was rated: 6

$12.00 is the winter rate–power and cable TV included. Hotel rooms continue to be reasonable priced and clean. Owners are very friendly. I’ll stay here again.

“Renfro Valley KOA” in Renfro Valley, Kentucky - was rated: 6

This is an older KOA that has not been updated for quite a few years. We stayed overnight and it was fine for an overnight stay but, I would not stay any extended time here. The campsites are small and the campground is not ‘big rig” friendly, a 34 foot motorhome would be […]

“Frog City Rv Park” in Duson, Louisiana - was rated: 8

Wonderful, nice office personnel, Gave us Xmas cookies and candies when we arrived. Informed us about all the great Cajun restaurants including one where most of the patrons were speaking Cajun french. This is truly the heart of Cajun country. The park is nice, clean, quiet, convenient and we would stay here […]

“Tugaloo State Park” in Lavonia, Georgia - was rated: 7

This is a nice small park on Lake Hartwell. The bathrooms were clean but the sites are sometimes messy. I experienced a security problem - first time at a state park - and I think it could have been avoided if the Camphost was doing his job. I had left for a […]

“Jack Benny RV Resort” in Dandridge, Tennessee - was rated: 10

The new owners are wonderful. We had a group of 5 RV’s for the weekend. They allowed us to use the pavilion for a picnic. The park is clean and well kept.
