“Willow Tree Resort” in Longs, South Carolina - was rated: 1

The campground itself is very nice. Large sites, escorted to site, clean, walking path around lake, majority of sites pull thrus. Unfortunately, management not willing to enforce their rules. Our visit was ruined by a group of campers who drank excessively during the day and into early morning with no regards to […]

“Wytheville KOA” in Wytheville, Virginia - was rated: 8

Easy access from interstate. This campground must be beautiful in the summer. There are plants all over the place. Sites are quite close together but there aren’t a lot of campers in December so there was at least one space between us and another camper. Restrooms appear to have been redone […]

“The Pines RV Campground” in Tifton, Georgia - was rated: 1

Signs on interstate said this campground had long pull-thrus and was a Good Sam Park so we decided to stop for the night. It was quite early in the scheme of things… 5:30 p.m. The office was locked up. There were no instructions for ‘late’ arrivals. Tried knocking on office […]

“Legion State Park” in Louisville, Mississippi - was rated: 5

This is a very old state park. The camping spaces are very close together, we were able to open our slide but not our awning because of the trees being so close. The garbage drums were full when we got there, they were still not emptied 5 days later when we left. […]

“Coloma Camperland Campground” in Coloma, Wisconsin - was rated: 5

We stayed here one night on our way home. It looked like this campground is for overnighter’s or permenant campers. Stay here only as a last resort. We camped here in a 5th Wheel.

“Fort Wilkins Historic State Park” in Copper Harbor, Michigan - was rated: 10

We loved this campground. Everything was clean and neat. We stayed in the West Campground, the sites are more secluded and sites 140 thru 160 are on asphalt pads. Copper Harbor is a nice little town, we stayed for a week and found enough to keep us busy.

“Canton I-20 RV Park” in Canton, Texas - was rated: 10

This park had improved greatly under the new owners. The campground is spotless, well landscaped and looks new. All sites are 50 amp. Of the 42 sites, 25 are 70 ft pull thru. The sites are level and covered with fine ground gravel requiring little in the way set-up. The […]

“Parkwood Motel & RV Park” in Statesboro, Georgia - was rated: 9

This is a beautiful and quiet campground. We stayed for the months of November and December, because it is close to family for the holidays. This park is close to Georgia Southern University and also has a very nice Japanese restaurant within walking distance. Park owners are extremely nice and on site. […]
