“Beaver Lake Campground” in Custer, South Dakota - was rated: 9

We stayed here the last week of July. It is a great base for visiting Crazy Horse, Rushmore, Devils Tower, Deadwood, Sturgis and others. The camp sites were roomy, shaded, with plenty of water and power. The restrooms were clean and nearby. We did not use the pool, but we really […]

“AVI Resort & RV Park” in Laughlin, Nevada - was rated: 8

We enjoy staying at Avi with its easy access to the Casino and restaurants. Windy when we were there this time with mostly sand to walk the dog. She manages and we stay here rather than in Needles or Laughlin. Quiet and close to the Colorado river. Would stay again.

“Kit Fox RV Park” in Patterson, California - was rated: 7

Good place to stop on Interstate 5 between Santa Nella and Sacramento. Pretty quiet and freeway noise is minimal with easy access to fast food and gas stations. Our Jack Russell Terrier enjoyed the jack rabbits running around the park in the late afternoon. Have stayed twice and would stay again using […]

“Shady Pines RV Park” in Texarkana, Texas - was rated: 7

Very friendly park. All concrete pads, wide and long for big rigs. Owners were great. Trees are small, so there is very limited shade, but give it a few years. Lawns were very well kept and there is a small lake on the property that several of the guests were appearing […]

“Al’s Oasis Campground” in Oacoma, South Dakota - was rated: 6

A good overnight stop in central SD with full hookups, good cable, WIFI, and pool. Those who don’t like to hear any highway traffic, want beautiful landscaping or paved road and pads, etc., go elsewhere.

“Homer Spit Campground” in Homer, Alaska - was rated: 8

Beautiful location, but not choice sites. A bit cramped and although clean, the grounds were pretty rough. Loved the access to all on the Spit.

“Woody Acres Resort” in Fulton, Texas - was rated: 10

This is our second winter here. We came in last January for one month, and stayed three months. The people and activities are wonderful, the weather much better than “up nort’” (mild winters), and the area interesting with much to see and do. If you must go to a city, Corpus […]

“Forsyth KOA” in Forsyth, Georgia - was rated: 8

This is a nice friendly campground with a helpful staff. Campsite was nice and level with plenty of space between sites The facilities were clean and well stocked. The biggest problem is that I-75 is just across the frontage road and the truckers seem to just love to see how much noise they can […]

“Orlando Winter Garden Campground Resort” in Winter Garden, Florida - was rated: 9

I agree that this is one of the friendliest campgrounds I’ve been in. No problem with the noise, honestly didn’t notice it. I do agree that the bath facilities could use a little update, but they were clean. The sites are all side by side, so you really get to know your […]

“Green Acres RV Park” in Savannah, Tennessee - was rated: 9

This is a Passport America campground. I would have given this park a 10 if they had 50 amps and cable. The interior roads are gravel and all sites are grass. The owners go out of their way to please. There is only 1 washer and 1 dryer. Everything is […]
