Although this is an old park, they are working to update. The bathrooms and showers weren’t bad, and the whole feel of the place was certainly better the the place across the road.

I drove through here and the whole place looked old and rundown, and appeared to have a lot of permanent residents. Did not stay.

This park is clean, well maintained and patrolled. I was stopped by the park speed monitor, she came running after me while I was speeding at 15 mph. We stayed here two nights while visiting Charleston. Many paved pull through sites available but, I had to back in for satellite coverage.

Another lovely NM State Park. 20 miles from Roswell, but close enough to get there when needed. We would definitely stay here again.
