“Dubois / Wind River KOA” in Dubois, Wyoming - was rated: 8

We stopped here on our way to Yellowstone. Nice little park with friendly help. If I would of had more time, I would of liked to stay here more than one night. Town was very quaint, definitely a western town, and I would of liked to explore it, but did not have […]

“Lake Williams Campground” in Lebanon, Connecticut - was rated: 3

We called to see if they were open and ready for us, since it was opening weekend and there had been a lot of rain. They said they were, so off we went. We arrived and they had no idea where to put us. They settled on “the hill”. We walked […]

“Windy Acres Family Campground” in Westhampton, Massachusetts - was rated: 3

The staff was unfriendly and the seasonals were very off-standish. I tried to attend bingo and was glared at and given the cold shoulder. The restrooms were filthy and there was slimy scum on the shower floors. The owner’s wife seemed to have her favorite seasonal group and they could do pretty […]

“Baileys Grove Campground” in Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin - was rated: 7

This is a great place to stay in Door County. The campground is very clean and nicely maintained. The sites are adequate in size, not overly spacious, but you’re not right up against your neighbor either. The town is a short walk down the hill where you’ll find a grocery, small hardware […]

“Jackson KOA” in Jackson, Minnesota - was rated: 3

Pleasant staff, but a dirty and poorly kept park. The grass in all sites was overgrown. Our site had old cooking utensils, cigars, and other junk littering the ground and picnic table when we arrived.

This is a pretty park on the Putah River, just east of Winters and about 10 miles north of Vacaville and just south of Lake Berryessa. Their phone is 530-795-2990. Sites are spacious with plenty of walnut trees and shade, grass, and free-roaming peacocks. Picnic tables and grills at each site. […]

“Ransom Road RV Park” in Aransas Pass, Texas - was rated: 9

Nice, clean park. Everything works. Yes, a lot of concrete, but if it wasn’t there, there would be a lot of MUD…concrete is better than mud. Friendly office staff and telephone people. We used Passport America for 2 nights @ $15.00 and then the rate went to $28.00. Weekly […]

“Seaport Campground” in Old Mystic, Connecticut - was rated: 6

This campground is under new ownership (2 weeks) I rated it this because there are NO sewer hookups and the reservation person said full hookups were available. Large pull thru sites all gravel roads and pretty close to your neighbors. The main building bathrooms were clean, the remote building were not. Overall […]
