“San Luis RV Resort” in Santa Nella, California - was rated: 7

This is an older park that the new owners and managers are updating. They are doing a great job. It is not the most scenic campground but very convenient and comfortable. They are putting in a 13 acre park right now with walking paths and playing fields.

“Gloucester Point Family Campground” in Hayes, Virginia - was rated: 8

We spent 2 nights and the previous reviews are clearly dated. Yes, lots of permanent seasonals. Yes, they have golf carts. The sites are well kept up and as previously stated, everyone is very friendly and welcoming. WiFi is for a fee, but is available. Shaded sites are not good […]

“Sandy Riverfront RV Resort” in Troutdale, Oregon - was rated: 9

Clean park, friendly staff, well maintained grounds. Good access for big rigs, some sites a little close. Came for a week - stayed a month. Only negative is train noise - didn’t bother us but could some others.

“Overnite RV Park” in Amarillo, Texas - was rated: 6

This is an older place in need of a face lift. Located right off the interstate with the expected traffic sound. Right on the flight path for the air base with quite a number of planes overhead. The pool was green and full of floating plastic bottles w/ one small hose attempting […]

“Checotah / Lake Eufala West KOA” in Checotah, Oklahoma - was rated: 9

What an absolute gem. Just off the highway and easy to find and get into - some highway noise - a price to pay for ease of access. This charming place out in the middle of almost nowhere is run by very friendly staff. The Kafe was closed as the “cook hit […]

“Midland RV Campground” in Midland, Texas - was rated: 2

I pre-paid for a pull thru but was given a back in. Then I arrived at my spot to find it EXTREMELY difficult to back in due to a dumpster directly across from the space. I asked for my money back, got nothing so far. Then, on the second night, there was […]

“Pine Valley RV Resort” in Quechee, Vermont - was rated: 5

As others stated, this park recently changed ownership, and is now a KOA. This is where the troubles begin. We stayed here with a group of 8 families total. The reservations were all made before the sale took place, and the new owner didn’t seem to want our business. I have […]

“Thousand Trails / Chestnut Lake” in Port Republic, New Jersey - was rated: 4

This has to be one of the most disappointing parks in the Thousand Trails/NACO system we have visited. We’ve been here frequently over the past 7 years because we needed to be in the area for business and it still ranks near the bottom of the barrel of TT parks we have visited. […]

“Normandy Farms Family Campground” in Foxboro, Massachusetts - was rated: 7

We have always heard this was the best campground in the Northeast, and finally had chance to try it out this July. The park is huge, and well maintained. We were in the Safari area, and I felt that the $72/night price tag was a bit steep for W/E in a field. […]

“RV Ranch of South Fort Worth” in Burleson, Texas - was rated: 6

The place is nice enough and I have recommended many people to stay there when they come to visit us, as it is very near our home. But unfortunately, they really disappointed me this time. Coming off of a 2300 mile trip, I wanted to dump my holding tanks, and then take my […]
