“Country Haven Campground” in New Holland, Pennsylvania - was rated: 9

My husband and I spent 9 days at this campground. It is in a very quiet rural setting in the heart of Amish farmland. The campground is on a hill overlooking a valley with several farms. This is the view we had from our kitchen window. Beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed our […]

Pla Cool evaporative cool

I recently purchased a 1989 Lazy Daze class c motorhome with a pla cool evaporative cooler. My problem is that the 12 volt pump motor is completely rusted out and pla cool is apparently out of business. I have searched rv stores and the internet for a similar size motor to no avail. “Camperland” in Bridal Falls, British Columbia - was rated: 6

Very nice park, but very busy. Site are no larger than they have to be. We were next door to a family reunion - very noisy, barking dogs, people walking through sites, crying babies - no enforcement. For the price charged we were very disappointed. Sent Kids to Water Slides next […]

Very crowded even though it was raining - lots of Albertans. Very little park enforcement - Loud trucks squawking tires, Fireworks after quiet hour. Park is 20+ miles from turnoff, but staff do not maintain the “campground full” sign. We ventured in despite the fact the sign showed no vacancy. We […]

“Whip In RV Park” in Big Spring, Texas - was rated: 8

Nice park for overnight stop. Gravel roads. Our gravel site was one of the most level and quickest to setup on our current trip (6,000 miles since we left Baton Rouge on March 21st). Grassy patio with bench seat. Easy off and on the Interstate, but with little road noise. […]

“Camp-Along Resort” in Penticton, British Columbia - was rated: 2

Pay shower was cold, probably the worst shower I ever had to pay money for.(actually has a note to warn of this) Very tight, even with lots of reversing experience. Couldn’t put out awning, had to place our lawn chairs around neighbors sewer connection - no room. No Camp Fires. Grass not […]
