“Pleasant Valley RV Park of Howard” in Salida, Colorado - was rated: 8

Down a county road with a narrow bridge over the Arkansas River (17 ton limit). Turn for RV park is just before railroad bridge with only a 10 foot clearing. Had us scared until we realized where the park really was. Woman and her son, Steve were very helpful and accommodating. […]

“Cape Henlopen State Park” in Lewes, Delaware - was rated: 9

We camped here over a weekend in June this year. It was our first time at this park and we had a great time. The facilities were clean, the staff was great and the park was quiet. Since it was a summer weekend at the shore, the park was rather full. […]

“Apache-Sitgreaves Nat’l Forest / Canyon Point Campground” in Forest Lakes, Arizona - was rated: 7

Campsites are nicely spaced out, with lots of trees in the area and between sites. Showers are available, and are included at no extra charge. They are not coin-operated. Most toilets are pit toilets, with flush toilets available at the showers. The pit toilets located nearest my campsite were quite full, […]

“Troll Hollow” in Marseilles, Illinois - was rated: 3

Mainly a seasonal park, but they do offer a few Overnight sites. Grounds are not maintained at all and the majority of the seasonal sites look like no one has been out to them in years. No swimming of any type (pool or lake). Nice newer playground and entry with a keypad […]

“The Four Seasons” in Freelton, Ontario - was rated: 4

The park was in disrepair. It is about to come under new ownership, so hopefully the new owners will fix it up a bit. Many things were old and worn (bathrooms, play area, lighting, showers, etc.) It was okay, but could be much better.

Very friendly folks who encourage joining in. Well lighted storage areas. RV repair place outside gate came to site to start repairs […]

“Four Star Campground (formerly Whispering Pines Campground)” in Marseilles, Illinois - was rated: 4

The swimming pool looks nice (the water was clear and clean) but it was small. The playground was newer but the kind that you would have in your own back yard, not a commercial quality playground. Mostly a seasonal park, and as usual a few of the seasonal areas are nice…but the majority […]

“Olympic National Park: Mora Campground” in Forks, Washington - was rated: 7

National Park Service, located near end of road. Shady campground next to river and close to ocean. We especially enjoyed hikes on the beach and the northwest coast scenery. Typical of NPS, some parking spaces are tight.

“Vacationer’s RV Resort” in El Cajon, California - was rated: 8

Staff very friendly, but park had narrow roads and sites. They have a few sites that will accomodate 40′ rigs.

Well worth the Passport America fee and certainly much more. Extremely friendly and helpful owners and staff. Wifi worked fine. Pool a little small. Very nice laundry, patio, and bar with joining in, encouraged. Very grassy and quiet. Would love to stay again!
