“Conestoga Quarters RV Park” in Port Angeles, Washington - was rated: 10

This was one of our favorite RV parks. We had planned to stay one night, but changed our stay to three nights due to our positive feeling about the park. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. They helped us park our trailer, find a vet in town, offered insider’s advice on […]

“Wild Duck Campground” in Scarborough, Maine - was rated: 6

The Adult only aspect of this park sounded fine to us, but I was taken aback a bit when I read the rules and regs once we arrived. No one under 21 may enter the park, period! And only four people are allowed at a site, ever! I guess that does cut down on […]

“Laguna Seca Rec. Area” in Salinas, California - was rated: 6

Very cool being next to the race track. You can go just about anywhere as long as you do not pass the spectator fence. Great views, very clean, friendly staff, and shade trees. Easy access to Hwy 68 (Monerey-Salinas Hwy).

“Kaibab Camper Village” in Jacob Lake, Arizona - was rated: 4

Sites are small, restrooms are just nice clean porta pots, showers are pay per minute, and the store has about three items in it, but the location is great for going to the north rim, plenty of big shade trees, and very nice and helpful staff.

“Sylvan Lake Beach Park” in Hopewell Junction, New York - was rated: 2

Restrooms and showers were horrible - dirty, falling apart, plugged up. The lake front facilities were falling apart. The cable TV hookups were not hooked up. Overall this campground appeared to have potential but had not been maintained in several decades other than a coat of paint. Lake front swimming was […]

Nice location on Oak Orchard creek. Not a big tourist stop, more of a down home atmosphere. Activities are planned and there is a marina there for you fisherpeople. Overall, a nice relaxing campground.

“Klondike RV Park & Cabins” in Soldotna, Alaska - was rated: 9

Best in this area. They only except self-contained units since they do not have restrooms. The Laundry and showers were very clean. Would stay here again and I am sorry that I did not find this nice park sooner. Across the street from the Kenai River w/o all the noise. […]

“Codorus State Park” in Hanover, Pennsylvania - was rated: 10

Very nice state park. Site was level a good size. Swimming pool was huge and not crowded at all during the weekdays. Pool can get pricey at $4/person considering it only cost $14/night for campsite. Heard it can get very crowded on weekends too.(1900 capacity). Very close to Hanover, Gettysburg, […]

Finally A New Blog

It has been awhile since we have blogged and mostly it is because we are working very hard once again. I know we told ourselves that we would not but life has a way of shoving us in that direction. I do have to admit, we are getting much better at resolving this issue than […]
