“Creekside RV Park” in Marble, North Carolina - was rated: 6

Very Adult again but not as well kept as it used to be. No one under 18. If you like quiet this is the place. They even added gravel to our entry area to stay clean. Has stream trees and lightning bugs.

“Hungry Mother State Park” in Marion, Virginia - was rated: 7

Hungry Mother is an old park and shows it. The rest room facilities were old and run down, and as clean as they could be in their condition. Fortunately, a new building was under construction when we were there. The sites with sewer hook ups are outside of the main park, in […]

“Elwha Dam RV Park” in Port Angeles, Washington - was rated: 4

Park basically has well-maintained grounds and is conveniently located to Port Angeles, but that is about it. Upon arrival, we were given a site that was too small (with a prior reservation) and then we were asked to park our truck somewhere else to make room for other people. There were also a […]

“Badlands Circle 10 Campground” in Interior, South Dakota - was rated: 7

Some shade. Restrooms clean, Shower water barely warm. Good location, across from the missile headquarters, about 10 miles from the Badlands Visitors Center. Just off of I-90. Internet signal is low, we’re using our own. Probably could not hookup to theirs. They have a plug to combine two 30-amp […]

“Rincon Parkway Campground” in Ventura, California - was rated: 10

We took our grandchildren to Rincon for the 3rd time and they love it. They never fight with each other either. The weather was wonderful. Burbank was 101 degrees. We were in 70s. It’s first come first serve so get there on Wed or Thurs during summer months. It’s dry camping […]

“Alpine Lake Camping Resort” in Corinth, New York - was rated: 6

Nice campground with lake front sites at a premium, a bit expensive. Was a little upset that our site had no cable hookup but we managed. A lot of seasonal sites and did not see many motorhomes. Electric current was very low when running A/C lowest reading was 104, be careful with low […]

“Mount Rodney Luxury Coach Park” in Sturgis, South Dakota - was rated: 8

We stayed two weeks. Would stay again. Located about 15 miles from Deadwood/Lead and from Spearfish. Very open no shade. New. Part of the park is on a hillside and would give a lovely view. They had had a lot of rain the week before so no one was […]
