“Hoeft’s Resort & Campground” in Cascade, Wisconsin - was rated: 5

We stayed here for only one night as a stop over on a day trip. We found the campground to be clean and relatively quiet. However, with 125 seasonal sites this seemed to be more of a lake community than a campground. Many of the seasonal units were quite old, but very […]

“Statesville KOA” in Statesville, North Carolina - was rated: 5

We stayed for a week here. They do charge 2.00 extra per night on top of the 32.00 for the use of a/c. Staff was very friendly but the campground is old and needs lots of upgrades. Advertised 4 TV stations but only was able to receive 1. If you don’t have […]

“Valley of the Rogue State Park” in Rogue River, Oregon - was rated: 10

Though I almost hate to increase the demand for it, what a great park! First, I need to mention that there is Internet for the RV loops aside from F loop. You can get more information from the provider: http://www.roadconnect.net/. We payed a bit over a buck a day for a one-week subscription. […]

“Port Orford RV Village” in Port Orford, Oregon - was rated: 9

The park was clean and well maintained with adequate site size but minimal open space around the sites. What makes the park special is the host/owners, Cindy and Tim. They live in the park and do everything possible to make the stay a wonderful experience. Scheduled group social activities made our stay […]

“Sterling Park Campground” in Sterling, Connecticut - was rated: 1

This is the worst campground I have been too. When I called to make reservations I dealt with a very rude person. I let that slide, could have been many reasons why she was rude, so I still made the reservations. Big mistake on my part, should have known. The sites […]

“Stony Creek Campground” in Sequoia National Park, California - was rated: 9

We like camping in Sequoias. But we also don’t do crowds. There are only three campgrounds in Sequoia with dump station and none with water or electric hook ups. Stony Creek has neither. But it is a few miles north of Lodgepole and nestled on the banks of Stony Creek, hence […]

“Drummer Boy Camping Resort” in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania - was rated: 10

What can i say. This is the very best campground I have ever been to. And I’ve been camping for 25+ years… Can’t think of one knock.

“On-Ur-Wa RV Park” in Onawa, Iowa - was rated: 10

Great overnight park or adult park if you need to be in the area. No facilities for kids, but lots of “yard” to run around in for an overnight. Quiet, convenient, excellent Wi-Fi at no charge. Owner operated - responsive and friendly. Clean, neat.

“Algonquin Trails Camping Resort” in Huntsville, Ontario - was rated: 3

The campground itself is nice. There was a time where there was a hey ride at night that the kids and their parents’ would line up for, now you need to sign an insurance form and it only happens on special occasions. Our family always looked forward to this holiday, this year we […]
