“Point Comfort” in Piseco Lake, New York - was rated: 8

This park, like all the New York State Dept of Environmental Conservation operated parks in the Adirondacks, is basic. It has simple, non-flush bathrooms and most importantly, no shower facility. If you want to shower you must travel fifteen minutes to the NY DEC park at Moffitt Beach. You can enter the […]

“Rivernook Campground” in Kernville, California - was rated: 8

It was full of campers, the week we were there. We had a pull through site with full hook ups, including cable t.v.. The campground was quiet and the access to the Kern River was nothing short of awesome. Views were good, the fishing fair at best. The restrooms and […]

“Lakeside RV Campground” in Provo, Utah - was rated: 5

I have to disagree, with the past reviews. Basically this is a trailer park, full of permanents, with some old trailers. With some overnight lots scattered around, and at one end of the Park. Could not get Satellite due to the large trees. The best thing was the free hi speed […]

Very crowded and noisy. If you’re into kids, loud music from radios several sites away and dust then this is the place. If you want a little piece and quiet, give this a pass, especially on weekends. For a regional park that has lots of potential, this one doesn’t quite make the […]

“Holiday Park Campground” in Greensboro, Maryland - was rated: 8

Camp here often and find the owners and the seasonals to all be very friendly folks. They always have some type of activities for both adults and children. Several concerts are held through out the year for those who enjoy Gospel music. Hay ride every afternoon. Big pool, etc. The […]
