So many things about this place bothered us. Let’s start with the surly and self entitled seasonal folk with teens speeding around way over the 5 mph speed limit in way, way too many golf carts. The adults drank alcoholic beverages openly and all day around the pools as they ground out their cigarettes on the tiles around their chairs. The pools themselves would have been great if the music and dj wasn’t so loud from the speakers that my family all had to literally yell to hear one another. Also, blaring music is pumped into the bathrooms, yes the bathrooms. It all but bound me up for the entire visit. We stayed in a transient site and at 9:30 pm while we sat around the fire, a huge truck towing a very long camper attempted to pull into the site directly across from us. The were literally 2 feet from us with glaring head lights, we could barely see the light from our campfire, as they spent the next half hour pulling up to our campfire and back as they tried to pull into their site. We were serenaded by the constant chirp of their radios as they called to one another during the pull in and set up, not to mention the rumble of their huge engine. Nice.
