This is a new state park and all facilities reflect it. All the RV sites are level concrete pads with asphalt drives and roads. Each site has a picnic table, fire pit and tent pad. The camper services building includes a camp store. Views of the city at night are incredible. This is a great park to use as a base to see the sites in Colorado Springs. It is also a great park for local campers to use as a “shake down” trip in the spring or a final trip in the fall.
