“Camping World RV Sales (Formerly Shipp’s RV)” in Chattanooga, Tennessee - was rated: 3
We camped here because we were having tow equipment installed on our coach and dinghy. I would never stay here for any other reason. The sites are very tight. It’s next door to a motel with very bright flood lights so be sure to find a campsite as far from that side of the park as possible. There are long-term, raggedy and run-down campers in here. And it’s extremely loud. There is a race track within a stone’s throw. We pulled in on Friday evening and the roar of the race cars was unbelievable. It went on until about 11:00 PM. We could also hear practice runs during the day on Saturday, but it wasn’t nearly as loud. On a positive note, there are some nice big trees in the park. And it’s conveniently located. We were without transportation and were able to walk to a restaurant and also to a flea market.
