“Anvil Campground” in Williamsburg, Virginia - was rated: 2
Stayed at the park as they advertised “transportation provided to Busch Gardens”, asked about it upon arrival and was told that we had to catch a public bus from the street to a bus terminal than catch another bus to Busch Gardens (& we had to pay for it). Some trailers on site are permanent and are run down with some seedy people. Very noisy; there is a busy road on one side and a VERY NOISY railroad on the other that when trains pass (about 5 times a night) the ground shakes like an earthquake! Also the pool had not been opened yet but had black water in it with mold all around the walls. I would not recommend this campground to anyone!
